Emma A. Darkholme
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Emma is, overall, a very friendly girl. The outbreak has caused her to become more cautious, but she doesn't let that dampen her naturally chipper attitude. Right of the bat she makes connections, and she keeps them. She has to in the world we live in now. She prefers real human contact as opposed to the undead one, but she makes do what she must. Her preschool teacher days have given her a compassionate nature that most people latch onto. After her very first zombie kill she has vowed to find and protect any children that she can find.
As far as the personal level of personality. Emma is considered a flirt. She does it naturally, and doesn't seem to notice it when it happens. She won't take it 'to the next level' until she knows for sure that Scott is dead or alive. As far as her tastes go, Emma has always been straight, with a healthy interest in the opposite sex.
Before the final outcome of the disease, Emma was a simple, yet happy, soon-to-be-wife. She was engaged to a lawyer, her future set out in a perfect slab of stone. She was a pre-school teacher at a local elementary school and she had loved her job. She was by no means wealthy, but she was able to juggle a few extra bucks. She was set in Oregon, on a happy little home that she would share with Scott, her fiancée.
When the outbreak hit, Emma can still remember seeing it on the news...and not believing a word. That quickly changed, however, when she went to work the next day. The school was nearly barren, and it was completely filthy. As if the custodian had forgotten his place and just left town. That was Emma's second chance...but she still didn't take it.
She went through the entire day of school, paying special attention to a child named Jamie. Apparently Jamie had gotten bit by a stray dog. When asked, Jamie said his parents weren't around to help him clean it up, so he just put hot water on it and continued playing. After the school day, Emma walked Jamie home and was shocked to see the place in shambles. As she wandered the house, she heard a scream from outside. She saw Jamie doubled up in pain. As she got closer, the young child reared up and attempted to bite Emma. Scared, and very confused, Emma ended up beating the child off of her, eventually killing him with a branch shoved through his head.
By the time she made it home, Emma had seen enough to make her believe. She knew it was the apocalypse and she knew she had to protect herself. Scott never came back home after that day. Emma assumed the worse...and has until she'll find his corpse or body in person again. Emma now wanders the streets, with her two machetes, and a fierce drive and determination to rid the world of the plague that is the outbreak.

"Alright you creepy little jerks...the time is now...and there was never a better place." Emma said through gritted teeth as she stared down the hallway to the lumbering oafs ahead of her. Her eyes narrowed as they approached, her hands tightening on the two machetes she carried in both hands. She would be lying if she said she wasn't scared by the fast approaching six or seven zombies ahead of her.
I'll be fine, she thought to herself. There's a reason I do what I do...for the innocent that had to die for the rest of us to live, she thought grimly. She took a slight step back, ready to launch. The first zombie to round the corner looked, at one point, to be a good old golf dad. Not anymore. Emma let out a little yell as she sliced with her left hand, quickly putting a gash in the things chest, her right hand following quickly through to send his head rolling, not unlike a short putt putt game.
The second zombie to round the corner was a big beefy weightlifter. "Oh this just gets better and better." she said to herself as she let ut another yell as she headed for the big guy. [/blockquote]
